Tsogo Rewards
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The “Participating Entities” includes all participating casinos, bingo operations, hotels and online platforms.
These Terms and Conditions read together with our Privacy Policy and all other rules or polices that are made available on our various platforms constitute a written agreement between Tsogo Sun Group and you (“you” and “user”) and will govern our relationship and your use of our Rewards Programme. When we refer to “Services”, we mean any products, goods, services, functionality offered, owned or operated by Tsogo Sun Group.
- The Tsogo Rewards programme is a multi-partner reward programme operated on behalf of all participating entities (“Tsogo Sun Group”).
- Only persons who are 18 years or older are eligible to sign up for the Tsogo Rewards programme. Juristic, excluded and self-excluded persons may not participate in Tsogo Rewards programme.
- Valid positive and acceptable forms of identification will be required. Photographic images of Tsogo Rewards members may be required for inclusion into the gaming system. Copies of each of these documents may be retained by the participating entities.
- Tsogo Sun reserves the right, amongst other rights, to amend card status or withdraw cards at its sole discretion. In addition, Tsogo Sun reserves the right to suspend or terminate programme participation where Tsogo Rewards members are in breach of the terms and conditions, including but not limited to, qualification criteria.
- The card status is determined by the Tsogo Rewards member’s activity in all aspects of the Tsogo Rewards programme.
- It is the Tsogo Rewards member’s responsibility to insert the gaming card into electronic gaming devices or hand it in at table games during play.
- The gaming card remains the property of Tsogo Sun Group and it reserves the right to levy a fee to replace lost, stolen or damaged cards.
- Programme participation, rewards and benefits are not transferable. Gaming cards are limited to one per person, per participating gambling entity.
- Specific terms and conditions apply to individual rewards, benefits and special offers. Furthermore, Tsogo Sun reserves the right without consultation with Tsogo Rewards members or any prior approval thereof, to amend the terms and conditions for programme participation, including but not limited to alliance with other programmes. Equally rewards, benefits, points earned, special offers, awards, expiry periods and rates at which points are earned may be amended.
- Tsogo Rewards members may be required to present their gaming cards together with a positive and acceptable form of identification when utilizing their card for certain transactions and/or claiming of prizes, special offers or redeeming of vouchers.
- Complimentary services are extended to one Tsogo Rewards member at the relevant entity’s discretion.
- Members are required to notify the relevant participating entity of any changes in address or personal details, either in writing or in person at the Customer Service Desk.
- Tsogo Rewards members without any activity in areas of Tsogo Rewards programme that generate points earning for a significant period of time will not be considered for special offers and benefits. In addition, programme participation may be terminated accordingly.
- Further terms, conditions and rules may be applicable from time to time, which will be specific to the promotional offering. Tsogo Rewards members may visit the Tsogo Rewards programme for the latest terms, conditions and rules that may be applicable to Tsogo Rewards programme and specific promotional offers.
- Tsogo Rewards members may elect not to be included in Tsogo Sun Group’s marketing communications list by opting out at any time by clicking on unsubscribe in email communication or replying STOP to opt out of SMS communication. A reasonable period should be allowed for Tsogo Sun Group to give effect to aforementioned opt-out request; hence the Tsogo Rewards member may receive marketing communication during the transitional period.
- Tsogo Sun Group reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel Tsogo Rewards programme at any time with prior notice. In addition, the use of points and/or benefits may be suspended from time to time with notice thereof.
- The participating entity will be recording information relating to the Tsogo Rewards member each time the card is utilised for Tsogo Rewards programme purposes. The recorded information, will be utilised by the participating entity to reward Tsogo Rewards members accordingly and to further obtain and process information for historical, statistical and research purposes. Such information will be retained for a period that is appropriate to serve the legitimate business interests of Tsogo Sun Group.
- Programme participants provide express consent to Tsogo Sun Group for the processing and further processing of their personal and special personal information for lawful purposes as set out in Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013, to enable Tsogo Sun Group to sign up participants to the Tsogo Rewards programme and manage the functions associated. Refer to the Tsogo Sun Privacy Policy for information regarding personal information collected from participants, including the purpose for which information is collected and the further processing of participants’ personal information. Requests for the deletion, amendment or updating of personal information should be made in writing by the data subject.
- Programme participants indemnify and hold harmless, Tsogo Sun Group, its subsidiaries, management and employees against any legal action, claim or suit, including but not limited to non-compliance in respect of consent requirements.
- Points can be earned for your spend at participating entities.
- Points at participating Tsogo Rewards entities are transferable between all participating entities.
- Gaming cards can only be used at gaming devices of the casino or bingo entity where the card was issued.
- Points are valid for 12 months from first date of issue, after which period they expire. Unused points older than 12 months will be forfeited.
- The accumulation of points by other persons on behalf of the registered Tsogo Rewards member is expressly prohibited and is grounds for termination of programme participation and forfeiture of points and benefits.
Members earn 2% of qualifying spend at Tsogo Sun casinos. hotels and participating outlets in Tsogo Rewards points. Qualifying spend is defined as money played while gaming, full rate spend on accommodation, food and beverages at Tsogo Sun owned casinos. hotels and participating outlets.
100 x Tsogo Rewards points = 1 x South African Rand.
playTSOGO earn at different rates 1 x Tsogo Rewards point = 1 x South African Rand.
- Qualifying criteria for offers and benefits of the Tsogo Rewards programme shall be commensurate with the activity status of the Tsogo Rewards member.
- Partner reward programmes linked to Tsogo Rewards programme operate independently, subject to their own terms and conditions.
- Tsogo Sun shall not be liable for any loss (including loss of income), injury, death and/or damages of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising, including negligence on the part of Tsogo Sun, which may occur as the result of the use of any products, goods or services offered by partner programmes.
- Rewards can be earned for your spend at participating entities.
- The required number of points must be earned over a specific period to qualify for rewards.
- Rewards are restricted to the periods and offering as advertised. The reward is neither transferable nor shall it be replaced if it is lost or stolen.
- Rewards cannot be redeemed for anything other than what the reward relates to and no change will be given.
- A minimum of 72-hours shall pass from the time of the reward being earned and the time that it becomes available for redemption.
- The reward will be available for collection at the eHost or App within the dates specified in for the offer.
- All other standard Tsogo Rewards programme terms and conditions apply in addition to the above.
